Urbis Sapphire 2 (Rev A/2-5-2009) Dimming Gear Tray Conversion
INSTALLATION GUIDANCE NOTES FOR
GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL & S.E.C. LIGHTING SERVICES
Isolate mains supply to lantern and open lid in usual manner by releasing the clip at the front of the lantern, Pull back the top of the lantern to reveal the gear tray.
Un plug the A. Mains connector B. PECU connector & C. Lamp connector as shown in the Yellow circles in Picture 1 below.
Remove lamp holder, lamp and gear tray enclosure from lantern.
Position new gear tray into place pushing down onto locking tabs and making sure the 2 locating holes (Yellow circles) are located correctly on the lugs.
Remove the 2 way connector (A) from the incoming mains, reuse and connect to the Black & White ignitor out going cables to the lamp. Install lamp holder & lamp and connect A plug circuit to plug C.
Connect 3 way connector supplied with gear tray to the mains supply.
Install lamp & Re connect mains supply and test for lamp operation.
