Urbis Sapphire 2 (Rev A/2-5-2009) Dimming Gear Tray Conversion

INSTALLATION GUIDANCE NOTES FOR

GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL & S.E.C. LIGHTING SERVICES

1. Isolate mains supply to lantern and open lid in usual manner by releasing the clip at the side of the lantern, Pull back the top of the lantern to reveal the gear tray.
2. Un plug the   5 way connector and the 2 way Lamp connector (A) As shown in the Yellow circles in Picture 1 below.
3. Remove fixing bolt (Blue circle) and remove gear tray enclosure from lantern.
   
   
   
4. Position new gear tray into place pushing down onto locking tab and making sure the 2 locating holes (Yellow circles) are located correctly and secured with bolts provided.
5. Remove the White 2 way connector (A) to the lamp circuit and connect to the 2 way connector supplied (Red and White cables).
6. Plug in the existing male 5 way connector into the new gear tray female connector.
7. Re connect mains supply and test for lamp operation.
