Urbis ZX2 (Rev A/2-4-2009) Dimming Gear Tray Conversion

INSTALLATION GUIDANCE NOTES FOR

GLOUCESTERSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL & S.E.C. LIGHTING SERVICES

1. Isolate mains supply to lantern and open lid in usual manner by releasing the 2 clips at the rear of the lantern.
2. Raise lid to reveal gear tray assembly, disconnect and remove lamp holder.
3. Disconnect Live-Earth & Neutral wires to geartray assembly from terminal block. Blue circle. Unscrew 2 retaining screws and lift terminal block away
4. Using an 8mm socket set undo 3 bolts (Yellow circles) and remove gear tray.
   
   
   
5. Slide in new pre assembled gear tray assembly and secure with the 3 No  bolts previously removed using an 8mm socket set.NOTE: Ensure Earth terminal lug is secured under No 1 bolt.
6. Reconnect existing terminal block to new gear tray by the 2 screws Previously removed.
7. Connect Live-Earth and neutral conductors of new gear tray to terminal Block, including the 2 White wires to the Capacitor (Lo & N terminals)
8. Insert lamp into lamp holder assembly and install into lamp housing
9. Connect Red & White lamp assembly wires using the connector provided
10. Re connect mains supply and test for lamp operation
